weather fronts

Cold Front:As cool air moves towards warm air cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds form from the drops of water produced by the rapid rise of warm air.

Warm Front: As warm air pushes against the cooler air it forms scattered clouds. These form when the warm air is dry.

Stationary Front:As the cool air and warm air collide and cause a cloud to form over were the cold air and warm air collided.

Occluded Front:When cool air pushes against more cool air the air rises to the warm air causing the ground to cool. So that way clouds from making it snow.

Ozone

The ozone is a form of oxygen that has three oxygen atoms in each molecule instead two. It is located inside the stratosphere. Ozone helps in many ways. One way that it helps is that it protects us from u.v rays and keeps air in. But one way that it can be harmful is that it can release harmful gases. Ozone depletion is were there is no more ozone. What could happen if there is no more ozone is that we would not be protected from u.v rays so we would burn up. Also we would have no more air and we would suficate.

Acid Rain

Acid Rain is rain that contains more acid then normal. Some causes are the burning of coal that contains a lot of sulfur oxides substances composed of oxygen and sulfur. Another cause is when nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides combine with water in the air to form nitric acid and sulfuric acid. A few consequences are one, it can sometimes be strong enough to damage the surface of buildings and statues. Also it harms lakes and ponds. It can make water so acidic that plants, amphibians, fish , and insects can no longer survive in it. Some solutions to this problem are maybe don't burn as much coal. That is acid rain.

earths atmosphere

Earths atmosphere makes it different from other planets with out atmosphere in many different ways. One way is that atmosphere brings seasons. So earth has seasons and other plants don't. Also the atmosphere around earth makes it so meteoroids don't hit earth. That is why there are craters on other planets because there is no atmosphere stopping them.

Science Exploration

The Science of Rockets

To summarize what i learned about the science of rockets is that they send up satellites to find out more about space. That is just one of the many things that summarizes the science of rockets.

The Space Program

So to summarize the space program it is about how they sent people to space and to see the different planets to see if humans can survive. So in conclusion they are trying to determine if there is life on planets.

Exploring Space Today

In exploring space today it talks about the personal satellite assistant that floats next to astronauts to watch out for things. Therefore they use a personal satellite to watch out for any movement.

Using Space and Science on Earth

Using space and science today is about how people think money should be spent else were then in ventures. Also it talks about what it could be spent on. So many people think they are waisting money

Gizmo

In all the things that I observed in my Gizmo I found a few factors that cause seasons. One is that it matters how the earth is facing towards the sun. So if the Northern Hemisphere or Sounthern Hemisphere if facing towards the sun more then it will be hotter. And if the Southern Hemisphere or Northern Hemisphere is facing more away from the sun then it will be colder. Another factor is that if the sun is closer to the earth then the days are longer were ever the sun is facing. Therefore those are just to of the many factors of why there are seasons.

Zoom

In two words that I can summarize the book zoom would be unexpected and surprising. But before when I was making inferences I noticed that I was incorrect about most of them. By this I mean that I thought it was going to be something different from what it was. And what this has to do with perspective is that it makes you think that you are going to see something but it turns out to be different. Those are some words that I used to summarize this book also the inferences I made.

Yes, I have thought that I was looking at something but then realized that it was something different. Such as looking at something up close and thinking it is something. But I also noticed that if I look at it from a different perspective it is totally different . By this I mean if I stand back it makes what I was looking at bigger. So that is what helps alter my perspective.

In the field of science I would think any kind of scientist could be interesting in this data that I have gathered. I say this because any scientist need to look at things to get a better perspective. They need to look at things with a better perspective so they could get to no what they are observing better. These are the kind of scientist I think could be interested in this data.

enigma box

In todays observations I noticed that at about 1,700 ml water began to flow out of the jug. Also I noticed that it resembled someone going to the bathroom. Another thing was that it resembled a Enigma box. That is what I noticed in todays observations.
What I think the inside of the Enigma box looks like is a jug but has a tube going from the inside out that can only hold so much water until it cant hold no more.  Something like in the real world that would resemble a Enigma box would be a bucket at Six Flags. What i mean is how at water pars water get pored into buckets and when it gets to full all the water comes out.
Some skills that scientist use to help make an Enigma box is gravity. Gravity helps because once the tube gets so full of water, water begins to flow down the tube and out the box. Another thing that scientist use are observations. Observations help because they have to observe how gravity works to get the Enigma box to work. That is what scientist use to help make the enigma box work.
Therefor what really made the Enigma box work was a tube. how this worked was first it starts with a carton. Then a tube is placed in the carton but so that one of the ends of the tube goes outside of the bottom of the carton. Also so that the other end is at the bottom of the inside of the carton. Then once you would pore the water in, it will rush up the tube inside the carton back down and out the end that was outside the carton. That is what really happened in the Enigma box.
